First Post: The Festo

This is my first post on the second version of this blog. I lost everything when my blog wasn’t backed up so this is a restart for the rest of my life. I consider this like my Jerry Maguire mission statement for the future of this blog. Maybe it’s a manifesto or a personifesto if you like.

I plan to run this blog until the wheels fall off. Either my demise or the end of WordPress and hosting as a whole. This will be my personal thoughts on politics, religion, society and whatever else comes to my likely ADHD mind. I will also post about pop culture including music, film and pro wrestling. In other words this will be super random. A fun little place to rant about why things suck and what would make things better. So take what you read here with a grain of salt or two. Then throw it over your shoulder for good luck. See, RANDOM.

When I’m not on a specific topic I will be journaling. A day in the life ramblings on the moment. The real cerebral stuff what goes on inside the mind and the soul. Its about soul searching as we get older. Sometimes it’s realizing you were the villain in stories past. Other times its fun nostalgia. Its the inner child playing in the sandbox glancing over at the old man waving his fist at the sky and realizing they are the same person.

In closing I will say I’m a proud slacker. My goal isn’t to climb the corporate ladder but instead to enjoy life and never sell out. This blog and my other ventures online will never be corporately funded. The only sponsors will be patrons who legitimately enjoy my work.
